Carol (Nadeau) Olsta, age 70, of Eastham ,MA died Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Albany Medical Center. She is the daughter of Lionel “Smitty” Nadeau and the late Jacqueline (Rheaume) Nadeau, of Webster. She graduated from Bartlett High School, and received her accounting degree from Siena College.
She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Peter Olsta; her father Lionel “Smitty” Nadeau of Webster; children: Lisa (Olsta) Robinson of Delmar, NY and her fiancé Michael Sullivan, and Michelle (Olsta) Marino and her husband Anthony of Glenmont, NY; grandchildren: Caroline Robinson, Eva Robinson, Ben Robinson, Adam Marino, Eliana Marino, and Sadie Marino; sister Diane (John) Yazwinski, of North Yarmouth, ME, brother Gerry Nadeau of Webster, MA, and predeceased by a brother Leonard (Peggy) Nadeau.
Carol was a CPA who spent the last 30 years of her career at the accounting firm of Pattison, Koskey, Howe, and Bucci. She became a partner of the firm and managed the office in Valatie, NY. Carol loved puzzles, especially Jumble and Kryptograms. She was an avid Patriots and Red Sox fan, but she was the most devoted fan at her grandchildren’s many sporting events and activities. She especially loved Cape Cod family time.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, January 29 at Sacred Heart Of Jesus Church, 16 East Main St., Webster, MA. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Of Jesus Cemetery, Webster following mass.
