Dudley - Antonia T. “Toni” (Repik) Sroczenski, 86, died peacefully Friday, October 11 at her home after a long illness. Her family was at her side. Her husband Raymond “Ray Stone” Sroczenski died in 1987.
She leaves. one sister: Mary Repik of Dudley, three nieces
Patricia Davis, Joanne Fairbanks and Gail Valentine. Two nephews Edmond Trudeau Jr. and John Trudeau. Many great nieces and nephews.Predeceased by two brothers John Repik and Charles Repik and two sisters Tess Trudeau and Bernice Davis
She was born in Dudley, MA, the daughter of the late Adam and Katherine(Chodor) Repik and lived here all her life. She graduated from Bartlett High School ,went on to nursing school in Boston. Toni was a LPN at Webster District Hospital for many years and later enjoyed being a social worker .
She assisted her husband local legend and big band leader Ray Stone and his Orchestra with the operations of their nightclub Stateline Casino for 3 decades of great music and Wedding Receptions .They built and operated the first drive -in theaters in Norwich , Plainfield and Waterford Ct.
Toni's family is thankful for her caregivers Mary, Alice ,Natalie and her nurse Donna for the loving care given to her .Her funeral will be held Tuesday October 15 with a Mass at 11 AM in St. Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main St., Dudley burial next to her beloved Ray will follow in St. Joseph Garden Of Peace Cemetery, Webster. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday morning from 9 :30AM to 10 :30 AM at Bartel Funeral Home & Chapel, 33 Schofield Ave., Dudley.
